Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of voicestudio.lol (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

VoiceStudio is a local-first voice AI studio. The desktop studio runs engines on your own hardware for voice cloning, voice design, video dubbing, and transcription. Paid plans add hosted rendering, studio credits, cloud projects, and support.

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set limits on hosted rendering to keep it available for everyone.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created with Google sign-in. You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping access to your Google account secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a risk to the Service or to other people.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe, either monthly or annually. Annual billing is discounted as shown on the pricing page.

• Studio credits cover hosted rendering and are granted per billing period. Unused credits do not carry over between periods unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing area of your account, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and may change with notice before your next renewal.
• Local renders on the Free tier never consume credits and are not billed.

5. Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you create. In particular, you must not use the Service to clone or imitate a person without their permission, to impersonate someone, to create deceptive audio such as fraudulent calls or fake statements, or to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

You must also not attempt to break the Service, resell hosted rendering without an agreement, or use it to violate the rights of others. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Your content and rights

You keep the rights you hold in the audio, video, scripts, and voice samples you bring to the Service. You grant us only the limited rights needed to run hosted rendering for you.

Free-tier use is limited to personal projects. Pro and Studio plans include commercial usage rights, and Studio extends them to client and team work. You must hold the rights to any voice you clone or dub.

7. Third-party components

The Service builds on open-source engines and models distributed by their own projects under their own licences. Those licences govern your use of the components themselves. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to a third-party project, its name, or its trademarks.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available, but hosted rendering depends on infrastructure we do not fully control. We may interrupt the Service for maintenance and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Support is provided by email at support@voicestudio.lol, with priority for Studio plans.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Generated audio may contain artefacts and must be reviewed before publication.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription from your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, the rights granted to you end, while provisions that by their nature should survive continue to apply.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
